GMEC 2025 will be held in the TELUS Convention Centre on 19–20 June 2025 in Calgary, Canada. The focus of GMEC is on eradicating malaria by uniting global stakeholders and forming a new organization focused on synchronized efforts. The biennial congress will emphasize collaboration, decisive action, advancing research, and global initiatives to eradicate this disease. The GMEC 2025 organizers will hold two poster competitions as part of the event. One will be open only to students to describe any research of theirs related to malaria. The other will be open to anyone to describe past or current malaria-related implementation projects in which they have participated, or implementation projects which they are proposing and for which they are seeking support. The Poster Committee will select a maximum of 20 posters from each competition for a total of 40 to be displayed at the event. Each poster selected for display will allow its author (or one of its co-authors) to attend both days of the congress for free. Further, the Poster Committee will select one Best Poster from each of the two categories. Winners will be invited to present their posters on stage on Day 2.
